DF x Pao: Boba takes on Braille

The most meaningful collaborations use design not just to create, but to innovate and provoke thought. Boba Takes on Braille, developed in collaboration with PAO, explores how thoughtful design can raise awareness, invite curiosity, and encourage more inclusive ways of seeing the world.

Inspired by the brushstrokes of visually impaired children, this drop was influenced by our need to raise awareness about Braille - the tool that empowers those who are visually diverse.

Guided by Doodle Factory’s design process, these ideas were translated into tactile influenced products that combine creativity and function. Boba Takes on Braille features scrunchies, tank tops, and handmade boba glass cups reading FIND JOY in braille, designed to be felt with every sip.

As part of this collaboration’s commitment to impact, 10% of proceeds support vital comprehensive eye care for underserved children in Fayoum through Ibrahim Badran Foundation.
